love
When you're learning English, you can find a lot of phrases that seem to mean the same thing, but are a little bit different. It can be really hard to know which phrase you should use. A good example is phrases that you use to tell someone that you love them. There are so many different ways; which one should you use?
Here's how I suggest learning similar phrases:
  1. First, try to figure out which version is the most common or most basic. Learn that one.
  2. Next, just learn other phrases that have similar meanings. Don't worry too much about the differences between them. And don't try to learn too many at a time.
  3. Wait for a while. Use English out in the real world. See which phrases you encounter.
  4. Finally, refine your understanding. Figure out how the phrases are different from each other.
So... let's try it with these phrases for telling someone that you love them. Learn a few, then bookmark this page and come back to it again later.
